From Cattle Ranch to National Park:
The early history of Rattlesnake Springs
Join Ephriam Dickson for a fun exploration of the early history of cattle ranching on the Black River, focusing on Henry “Hank” Harrison who claimed the land surrounding Rattlesnake Springs. The National Park Service later purchased this spring in 1934 to provide water for the thousands of visitors coming to Carlsbad Caverns each year.
